As a young engineer, I have had several challenges that I have had to overcome to get to where I am at. Whether the challenge was due to someone stating that I couldn’t do it because I was a girl, I wasn’t smart enough or if it was because I didn’t know how to do something. I have overcome a lot the challenges, but new challenges crop up at any time, so I will be talking about the challenges I have had starting from my interest in engineering to where I am at in my career. I will also discuss how I overcame them and hopefully give advice on how you can also deal with these challenges if you find that you are having them.
